Stragglers was well represented in the first marathon major of the season, Chicago. Mike Morris was the first to finish, beating the three-hour mark with a time of 2:57:13, followed by
Sam Hawthorn in 3:15:55 and Ian Robertson in 3:25:00.

Andrew Dell'Anno and Denis Mustafa almost finished together with times of 3:38:46 and 3:38:52 respectively, Andrew's time proving to be a significant PB almost four minutes faster than his last marathon. Ewan Taylor was next in 3:50:59 and Joanna McMahon finished in 3:59:06. Alex Mason completed the course in 4:59:35 despite suffering a knee injury.
