With the London and Manchester marathons just over two months away, it's time to get a half or two under the belt. This weekend over 20 Stragglers competed in the Hampton Court Half, pounding some familiar streets in Kingston and Teddington.
Rob Eveson was the first Straggler to finish with a time of 1:13:06 which earnt him sixth place. Maddie Garnier was the first woman with a new PB of 1:22:07. She finished fourth among the women.
Also notching up PBs were Duncan McConnell, Ian Hawkes, Steve Baller and Simon Dunwell.
Meanwhile, enjoying somewhat warmer weather, Rhys Doherty and David Curtin both raced the Barcelona half marathon, finishing in 1:09:54 and 1:37:11 respectively.
