Last weekend saw strong performances from our cross country runners as both Surrey and Middlesex held their XC championships.
At the Surrey Championships in Lloyd Park Lisa Bailey led the women home, finishing 11th in 30:07. Sarah Holt was just three seconds and was followed over the line by Emma Henston who finished in 30:21. Pamela McHutchon finished 90th in 43:09.
Austin Molnar was the first of our men to finish in a time of 48:33 and 98th position. He was followed by Chance Rowan (53:56), Gareth Pritchard (56:21) and Malcolm Fletcher (57:47).
At the Middlesex championships Nic Douglas was our first finisher in 29:14 which earnt her 4th position. Sophie Biggs was 9th in a time of 31:08 and Sarah Burnett finished 18th in 33:09.
Among the men Alistair Hall was the first to finish in 42:41, followed by Pavel Przepiorski (43:15) and Ted Fraser (50:49).
