What Happens When Subscriptions Are Due?
If you are registered on the website, you don't need to do anything until 15th April when you will receive an e-statement showing what is owed for the subscription and how to pay it. If you register after 15th April, you will receive an e-statement on the 15th of the next month.
If you have set up a direct debit, you don't need to do anything more and the money will be taken from your account at the end of the month.

If you haven't set up a direct debit, your e-statement will also contain:-
-
A link to GoCardless to make a one-time direct debit payment
-
A link to PayPal which will allow you to use a credit or debit card
-
The Stragglers bank account and sort code to set up a bank transfer
-

If you join the Club part way through the year, the same steps will occur once you have joined. The main point to note is that, once you are registered, you don't need to do anything until you receive your e-statement.which will be on the 15th of the month that you join, or the following month.
What Happens If Subscriptions Are Not Paid On Time?
If subscriptions are not paid, the Stragglers Debtors Policy will be followed. You can read it HERE
England Athletics Registration
The club’s policy is to encourage all running members to register for England Athletics membership in order to support our sport’s governing body and to receive the benefits of EA membership. The cost this year is £15. The benefits include a £2 reduction on the entry fee for all EA licenced events. EA registration is necessary to run for the Club in XC and Road Races in the Surrey League and higher level events such as the Southern Championships. You can read more about England Athletics HERE.

If you would like to include EA Registration, select "Yes" in the England Athletics drop-down box at the bottome of your profile. The EA registration fee will be added to your subscription and our Membership Secretary will forward the necessary information to England Athletics who will send the subscription pack to you by post.
If you request EA Registration after you have received an e-statement for your Stragglers subscription, you won't be able to pay your EA subscription until it appears on a subsequent e-statement.

If you are a new member who has previously been registered with England Athletics whilst with another club, let us know that and our Membership Secretary will make the necessary arrangements.
